EVALUATING ON-THE-JOB PERFORMANCE SKILL OF COMMUNICATION CENTER PERSONNEL

An all-new seminar designed for communication center directors and supervisors with focus on methodologies and techniques that might be utilized in assessing and/or evaluating the job performance of call-takers and dispatchers. Topics to be covered during this program include: (1) review of determining pre-employment qualifications; (2) job task analysis; (3) probationary period for new hires; (4) formal in-service training for new personnel; (5) developing and implementing a structured training program; (6) evaluating experienced personnel; (7) agency evaluation review; (8) anchor points; (9) assessing future supervisors. DATE/LOCATION/TIME: Seminar will be conducted November 23-24, 2009 at the Mercer County Police Academy at the Dempster Fire Center, 350 Lawrence Station Road, Lawrenceville, New Jersey. Class will be in session 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.daily.

FEE: $295 per person.
